Who WE ARE

Switchel is a heritage beverage with a long history of being enjoyed by farmers, specifically hay makers, while in the field laboring.  It's commonly made with water, ginger, apple cider vinegar and a sweetener, most commonly; honey, molasses or maple syrup.  This drink provided energy from the vinegar and sweetener, refreshment from the water while the ginger popped in a bite like liquor, especially in times when such things were prohibited.
